Chris is a California native that began his career enlisted in the military at the age of 18, rising through the ranks to become an Infantry Captain. Among senior officers, he developed an impeccable reputation for his foresight and complex operation planning capabilities. Following that, Chris went on to plan for and facilitate the support of operations across multiple continents. In the cannabis industry, he has been responsible for building a distribution ecosystem for one of the largest family of cannabis brands in California. Chris works closely with regulators and lawmakers on cannabis distribution in the State of California to ensure compliance and to improve the regulatory environment for all businesses along the cannabis supply chain. He is a founding member of the Cannabis Distribution Association, and in his community has served as the Redwood Empire Boy Scout Council President responsible for 2,000 youths.

Ken Kulaga, MBA, CTP, is a Senior Financial Executive, and Operational Executive with more than 30 years of experience in translating business issues into risk mitigating actions by building internal controls, implementing corporate business strategies, and optimizing profitability options. Most recently, Ken served as consulting CFO for CliftonLarsenAllen for 3 startups. Previously, Ken worked as CFO and CAO for Networked Energy Services (NES). He was responsible for all of NES' global finance functions and activities, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, ERP, HR, and IT reporting. He was a member of the Board of Directors for both the audit/risk and finance committees. Prior to NES, Ken served as VP of Finance and Chief of Staff, for GLOBALFOUNDRIES/Mubadala Investment Company. His scope of duties consisted of developing and executing business plans for the financial planning and analysis organization, and leading the financial transformation within the firm, including establishing a world class finance team. Before this Ken worked as Director at ABM Industries. He was responsible for ABM's corporate-wide budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes. Ken’s prior position was CFO Consumer Electronics Division at Sirius Satellite Radio. His primary duties focused on enhancing financial reporting packages and analyzing marketing and retail/Ecommerce business alternatives for the division. He played a key financial role in driving productivity enhancements by developing metrics and implementing reporting to measure progress as well as recommend performance improvement measures. Ken began his career working in increasingly senior positions at Lucent Technologies/Avaya (formerly AT&T), eventually serving as Business Unit CFO and supported both high growth and turnaround situations for several platforms.

Kate was born in Chicago and raised in California. Seeking to immerse herself in international business, Kate studied abroad in Southern Germany and Holland. Following university, Kate joined Apple, where she became Inventory Control Supervisor. Under her leadership, her store was the first American Apple Store to achieve a 100% Physical Inventory Score, a rare achievement in Apple’s history and in the retail industry as a whole. Previously, Kate was a manager for BevMo, where she used her inventory control knowledge and skills to improve their Loss Prevention methods and reduce their monetary losses in stores with high inventory shrink rates from theft and receiving issues. Prior to that, Kate was the operations assistant and warehouse manager at Porthos, an online luxury wine retailer, where she coordinated and executed all aspects of warehouse operations and the domestic and international shipping and receiving of some of the world’s most valuable wines. Kate also achieved Porthos’ first ever 100% Physical Inventory Score, and their highest running shipment volume. Kate brings her skills and experience in Warehouse Management Systems, streamlining operational processes, loss prevention, inventory control, and retail fulfillment to the Pacific Expeditors team.

Ben is constantly on the move, traveling across California to create thriving distribution relationships with passionate cannabis cultivators and manufacturers. Previously, Ben worked his way up from Delivery Driver to Dispatcher and Delivery Coordinator at Santa Rosa Auto Parts, where he managed a fleet of drivers while accurately pulling orders for each route. There he won awards for superior customer service. Similarly, he was recognized for superior customer service at Penske Truck Rental, where he negotiated and secured truck rentals for customers, maximized sales, provided fleet utilization, and sales forecasting. Prior to joining Pacific Expeditors, Ben was the Warehouse Manager at one of the largest cannabis companies in the state, where he was responsible for organizing delivery routes, moving tens of millions of dollars worth of product, and staff development. Ben has a keen eye for quality producers and brands in the cannabis space as well as an uncanny insight into brand strategy and its impact on the retail market.

Ben comes to Pacific Expeditors from the Silicon Valley tech world, where he led sales and sales strategy for some of the largest tech companies in the world, including Cisco Systems and Aerohive Networks. Ben has 15 years of sales and sales management experience in 3 different industries from startups to Fortune 15 companies. Previously, Ben cut his teeth doing sales at AT&T, eventually rising to be ranked in their top 12 Salespeople in the western region 3 years in a row, receiving invitations to attend their annual sales summit meeting. Ben was eventually identified as a sales management expert, and selected to run AT&T's west coast flagship store located in San Francisco. Ben's experience brings a new and dynamic approach to sales and sales methodology to the quickly evolving cannabis industry. Ben manages the Pacific Expeditors sales team, which covers the entire state of California.

Joe is a California native with almost a decade of experience navigating the complex political environment. He has extensive local, state, and federal political campaign experience, and served as a Capitol Hill aide to Congressman Mike Thompson (CA-05). Most recently, he assisted the executive office at a major national nonprofit in Washington, DC. Currently, he provides business and political analysis, strategy, and counsel. Joe helps facilitate the dialogue between Pacific Expeditors’ cannabis clients and statewide elected officials, ensuring both parties understand the interests and the intents of the other.

Nikita was born in Canada and raised in Colorado. She has a background in psychology research and fine art. For several years she worked closely with prominent academics, creating international presentations that were delivered at venues ranging from middle schools to the World Economic Forum. She also helped provide supportive research for best-selling books, including data collection and translation, and has conducted large surveys in multiple countries. Nikita brings her organization skills to Pacific Expeditors as Program Manager, working with department heads to build systems that can scale up quickly and efficiently for an industry growing in complexity.

Brian has over 12 years of consulting experience in the cannabis industry. He has worked with high profile businesses across the United States and has extensive experience in the management of cultivation sites and dispensary operations. He has held the position of President of a medical marijuana dispensary and has assisted others in multiple states in their permit process. Prior to entering the cannabis space, Brian worked for Fortune 10 companies, which gave him a comprehensive background in leading all aspects of business operations including P&L, merchandising, sales, customer service, inventory, human resources, security, and payroll management. Before that, Brian served in the United States Navy where he received two Letters of Appreciation from his Commanding Officers, was awarded Sailor of the Quarter 3 times, and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. He has held the position of Director for 3 Sonoma County Veterans Memorial Buildings, commanded an American Legion Post, is involved with AmVets, The United Veterans Council, and his local Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to joining the Pacific Expeditors team, she worked in the hospitality industry, at MacRostie winery in Healdsburg facilitating community outreach and client relationships. At Pacific Expeditors, Sierra manages our strategic accounts. She assists clients with issue advocacy at the state and municipal level, provides government relations, and ensures the availability of information among shareholders and stakeholders, leading all parties to favorable outcomes.
